4th to 6th October 2012 - Patec to develop Vietnam Market Metalex Vietnam (Booth G24) |
Patec will be participating in Metalex Vietnam 2012, 6th International Machine Tools and Metalwork Technology Exhibition. The exhibition will be held in Ho Chi Minh City , Vietnam from 4th October to 6th October 2012. Mr. Asan Tatang , President Director of PT Patec Presisi Engineering, Indonesia subsidiary of Patec Group said, ˇ°We have built up a strong reputation for manufacturing quality metal parts for 2 wheeler and 4 wheelers, especially for forming metal components with thick material that requires high precision and quality. Some of the parts are already being exported to Vietnam. We feel that we have strong competitive advantage with good value proposition. We would like to meet our potential buyers directly and understand the market better to plan how we can serve them better.ˇ± PT Patec is an integrated metal components manufacturer, with multiple capabilities in forming, cold forging and machining. With comprehensive knowhow on metal forming, it is able to provide a cost effective solution of superior quality assurance. It supplies metal parts to World Class Japanese manufacturers such as Yamaha, Honda, Toyota and Isuzu for assembling into Motorcars and Motorcycles. The economic relationship between Vietnam and Japan has being growing steadily, as affirmed with the warm reception received by Mr Yukio Edano, Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry visit to Hanoi on August 12, 2012. The Vietnamese Government has affirmed that they will provide favourable conditions for Japanese businesses to increase investment in Viet Nam as well as cooperation through the public-private partnership (PPP). ˇ°Vietnam is a very important but young industrial base to the Japanese manufacturers. As such, the supply chain is relatively undeveloped. Some of the parts we produced in Indonesia are re-exported to Vietnam. There are economies of scale to produce in Indonesia and export to Vietnam. Quality is better managed too. We are very confident of our potential here.ˇ±, added Mr. Asan. |
